Worship Arts - A Biblical Perspective on the Arts

This conference is a full day of study, worship and prayer. The importance of worship in the life of a believers will be discussed. A scriptual and historical view of the arts as they pertain to worship will be presented along with the prophetic voice in the arts and artists throughout history.

The background and response of the modern church to the arts and the effect that has had on the artist, the church, and our culture.

1:00PM-break for lunch one and one half hours

2:30PM Purpose of art

Contrast of golden calf: the misuse of art, to the construction of the Temple contruction: art as a point of access to God.

3:40PM-Break for coffee and general leg-stretching

4:00PM-Prophetic aspect of arts

Historical and Modern examples of Spititual movements in arts

5:00PM-Question and Answers with the artists of Pagus

6:00ish Break for evening meal

7:30PM Party time
