Pagus is proud to present Splendor and Holiness April 9th at the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center.
Featuring Emily Dixon and Nathan Underwood discussing Biblical and historical forms of worship and why worship is more than you may have thought.
Nathan Underwood will lead off with presentation over the forms of worship during the life of Christ and how they impacted the early church. He will follow the development of worship in the early Christian church, the power and impact that these developments had on the shaping of Christian thought and theology, and provide insights into how your worship can be more than a song.
Emily Dixon will lead us through a discussion of Old Testament worship and explore how the definition of worship exceeds the popular definitions. Beginning with Genesis, Emily will examine worship as an inspired and relational act, moving into mandated forms of worship at Sinai we will see what happens when our definitions of worship become too small, and finally, in the stories of Hannah and Jehosphat we will discuss how worship changes our world.
Conference starts at 6:00 pm April 9th.
