Pagus is composed of artists, musicians, and public speakers who are dedicated to spreading the Gospel via their talents and personal experiences.
Emily Dixon - Art and Public Speaking
Artist, writer, and mother of two (Lauren and Lydia) Emily Dixon, had a keen interest in art and literature from a young age. Spending many hours either lost in books or creating fine artwork. The arts and education have both been long time passions for her.
Nathan Underwood - Music and Public Speaking
Singer/Songwriter Nathan Underwood provides the soundtrack for Pagus. His music reflects unique personal experience and reflection on the events that shaped his life. Never shying away from the hard subjects, Nathan examines and questions the issues we all wrestle. The up coming C.D., "Naming my Monsters" is an honest look into hopes, fears, and frustrations that determine who we are.
Barbie Jared - Public Speaking
Growing up in alcoholism and abuse, Barbie Jared met Jesus at the very young age of six. Her relationship with Him would be her salvation on many different levels. Devouring the Word of God from the time she could read brought not only comfort, but instilled Truth in a world filled with fears and pain. Barbie was always the class clown and laughter was not only her passion, but her coping mechanism. Experiencing tremendous grief, guilt, and loss when her best friend was shot and killed by his mother, who then took her own life, Barbie had her first encounter with death, depression and thoughts of suicide. Through the next few years, she lost several other friends in various tragedies.
Laurie West - Music and Public Speaking
We are excited to introduce the new Christian singer/songwriter, Laurie West. Laurie has translated her life experience into songs that inspire and encourage all who have wrestled with issues of identity and purpose. Her music is a celebration of finding one's unique position in the Kingdom and the joy of embracing God's giftings. Her songs portray the insight of one who has faced the world apart from God and experienced the wonder of rediscovering Him.
David Stiles - Photography
David Stiles provides photography services for Pagus events. David has been pursued photography as a hobby for 20+ years. He reluctantly gave up his beloved, workhorse Minolta film SLR and entered the digital age. The digital SLR provides freedom to experiment which has turned on the artistic gene inherited from his mother.
Patricia Stiles - Photography
Patricia Stiles is a Pagus event photographer. Patricia has recently graduated from point-and-shoot prosumer camera to a digital SLR. The freedom to try new things via the digital format has increased her photography knowledge and skill.
